Islam's Greatest Nut Job

Move over, Onion satirists: there's a new kid in town with a terrifically wicked sense of humor. Over at MuslimWakeUp.com, Abu Fatoush rightfully wants to know why only men may lead muslim prayers (see my previous post). To that end, he diligently tracked down one Saudi "top scientist," Dr. Muhammad bin Saad an-Nutfah. Fatoush reports — tongue planted firmly in cheek — that the good doctor claims to have isolated the precise location in the male body from which the power to lead prayer originates.

An-Nutfah: The essence of Quranic knowledge resides in the male's right testicle. And since most women are born without a right testicle, they are barred from achieving the level of Quranic knowledge required to lead prayer. It is all quite simple really.
Fatoush: Interesting. How were you able to isolate the right testicle as the point of origin?
An-Nutfah: This was arrived at through a matter of scientific deduction. Men and women are quite similar in their basic physiology with the exception of the sexual organs in which and men differ. Contrary to popular belief the brain is not the primary organ for thought. In terms of basic knowledge and reasoning, yes. But the brain is ill-suited for total religious thought. This is where the testicles come in.
Fatoush: Fascinating.
An-Nutfah: It’s quite remarkable really. Within the folds of the testis is what we have termed the 'Deus Lobe.' The Deus Lobe can be found in most men throughout the world to varying degrees. A team of Italian doctors has verified its existence in tests performed in Rome.
Fatoush: Why the right testicle and not the left one?
An-Nutfah: Well that’s the sinister testicle isn't it?

I don't know what to say. Is this funny, or sad?
I'm a muslim IT expert living in US, and I've never seen that funny totally nonsense comment in my life. Islam is the religion of humanity, science and these stupid, uneducated people masses up the image of islam.

I live in Malaysia and know exactly what Islam is like..its teachings are obsessed with sex.
As a non practising Muslim, this article shouldnt be funny to me as we Muslims are supposed to take religion seriously..................... BUT its about three months since I'd read it and it still makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.
