When It Rains, It Pours Tax Revenues

Lewiston's elected leaders are saving for a rainy day by taxing rain. Councilors recently gave preliminary approval to slapping annual fees on property owners based on how much rainwater runs off their land and buildings.




Methinks an expansive catchment system is in order for Lewiston property owners.
Just sayin'.

I know Lewiston. It's the ghetto of Maine. I'm not surprised they're pulling something like this.
