From the 'Do As I Say, Not As I Do' file:
A volunteer for Mothers Against Drunk Driving who has lobbied state lawmakers for stricter drunken driving laws has been cited for driving under the influence, police say. Amy D'Aniello, 31, of North Branford [CT], was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and speeding early Sunday morning after she was pulled over for allegedly driving 75 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 80, police said.

Here's hoping she gets the max. A dose of their own medicine is what these holier-than-thou nuisances need most. In Saudi Arabia, incidentally, the penalty for drunk driving is a flogging. You don't suppose we could talk them into lending us a camel whip for a while?

She shouldn't get the "max". On top of whatever sentence she gets, I think she should be forced to attend every single MADD awareness program in her county for the next 6 months, and be forced to pay for the "invitation" every time. Let that be a lesson... (MADD gets a huge chunk for these stupid proceedings...)
