She should have borrowed Kerry's magic hat. Its invisibility aura would at least have kept the photo of her with the young girl out of the way.
HEy, maybe Obama can borrow it, retroactively, for the last twenty years and explain he never heard his pastor utter anything remotely racist - noone would have seen him there!
