Water Torture

First Christopher Hitchens volunteered to get waterboarded, last year. Then radio shock jock Mancow Muller did the same thing the other day — although unlike Hitchens, Muller sought to prove that waterboarding was surely no big deal.

"I wanted to prove it wasn't torture. They cut off our heads, we put water on their face...I really thought, I'm going to laugh this off."

Like Hitchens, he lasted 6 or 7 seconds.

Hitchens is a tubby drunk and he had trained professionals waterboard him. His descriptions of the experience are fascinating. He's obviously a brave man, who had traveled to some dangerous places, but being waterboarded really rattled him.

The radio guy just sounds like a douchebag poser searching for publicity.
