Another one the Lord's earthly representatives speaks:
On a recent webcast of his daily radio talk show, Wiley Drake, former
second vice-president of the Southern Baptist Convention, called [the recent] murder of [abortion doctor George] Tiller
"an answer to prayer." Then during an interview with Alan Colmes on Fox
News Radio, Drake said he was praying the same type of "imprecatory
prayer" against the president of the United States.
It put me in mind of this rather catchy and seriously well-crafted song: Eliza Gilkyson's Man of God. The YouTube video isn't the latest in audiovisual clarity, but the track is also available from iTunes. Check it out.

1 Tim 2: 1-4
"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."

Hey, at least Mr. Drake has the courage of his convictions, unlike the wing-nut weasels of the O'Reilly and Limbaugh variety --well, not courage I guess, or convictions, since if he had those, he'd be out killing his enemies too. Maybe I should say he is possessed of that kind of consistency that is said to be the hobgoblin of little minds.
