(a) North Korea
(b) Iran
(c) China
(d) United States
Here's the correct answer:
Among the multiple-choice questions included in the [U.S. Defense Department's] Level 1 Antiterrorism Awareness training course — an annual training requirement for all DOD personnel that is fulfilled through Web-based instruction — the department asks the following: "Which of the following is an example of low-level terrorist activity?" To answer correctly, the examinee must select "protests."

Of course, we're ALL terrorists, it was inevitable. Whenever laws make it easier for the authorities to do whatever they want to a class of people they designate with a special category, like "terrorists," they're going to expand that category to include everyone possible, eventually.
For instance, according to the local prosecutor, in this state, ANYONE who is in possession of a controlled substance is a "drug dealer," because the law describes "intent to distribute" as "packaging, REPACKAGING, or CONCEALING a controlled substance." The system might not elect to prosecute you in this way, but it can if it wants to.
Obviously then, if we're all terrorists, it is entirely up to some prosecutor's discretion to charge you as he sees fit. So, the routine is going to be, admit to this lesser charge, or be prosecuted as a "terrorist." And for those that refuse such a bargain, there's always torture. After all, "terrorists" don't have "rights."
