Phelps

They only call them honor killings because we are too cowardly to call them Islamic killings.

Ryan

I should point out that this is in Canada, so it's not called an "honor killing". You forgot our love of extra letters. It's called "why the fuck is there even a chance of these guys getting out of prison".

GreginOz

But really Roj, will you just stop TIPTOEING around the issue! ;-}

Howlin' Hobbit

I disagree. This was a very eloquent post.

...the brutal pronouncements of a delusional, child-fucking, seventh-century warrior-prophet...

And here we have Islam in a nutshell. If any thing you are more eloquent while enraged, rage on good sir.

there is a God. he is love, tolerance, patience, mercy, longsuffering, justice, and forgiveness. BUT MURDERING THE INNOCENT IN HIS NAME CANNOT BE TOLERATED. Any religion that promotes this kind of behavior is not in line with the living God. Even Christian religions are walking a fine line. But God is NOT a religion. And walking with God is purely a personal expeience. No one has a God given right to dictate that! GOD BLESS AQSA PARVEZ!!

I would also like to add that I believe in Christ, but I do not get caught up in the religious dogma. I believe one should know through the word itself, and let the spirit guide you. That way, we cannot be led by the blind.
